   In the north of Pura (pura = temple) Tanah Lot there is a Pura is situated on a cliff jutting into the sea. This cliff connecting the Pura with the land and shaped like an arched bridge. Here there are two temples are situated on a large rock. One is located in the upper crust and the other is located on the cliffs similar to Pura Uluwatu. Pura Tanah Lot is part of Pura Dang Khayangan and it is Pura laut shrine guardian deity of the sea.
